There is no doubt that the camp world in Mexico has grown in the last years, and today there are many options to choose from. Not all camps have the same characteristics nor they offer the same qualities.
Below is a list of questions to help you decide if our camps are right for you. Some of them are by suggestion of several camp associations; others are questions we think are the most important when making this kind of decision for your children.
What is Camp Valle Verde's experience?
Valle Verde began operating as a Summer Camp in 1987. We've made more than 400 camps, with more than 25,000 young participants. Since 1998, Camp Valle Verde is a member of the Mexican Camp Association.
What are the policies regarding health and safety?
The paramount concern at Camp Valle Verde is the safety and well being of each camper. With an excellent camper to counselor ratio (4:1), a continuous program of activities, constant supervision, a highly trained, caring staff and an exceptional team of coordinators and directors, we provide every one of our campers with a safe, fun and successful camp experience.

Is the camp fun? What activities do the campers do?
The camp schedule is always different, and we make sure that it always includes new activities, with special and creative environments we design. The campers return home really happy, with a lot of new experiences and very special new friends.
The program of activities is very unique, and it has been developed by our staff and directors in a way that the activities, pacing, structure, interaction and procedures promote the fun, growth and development of the campers. We give special atention to a healthy interaction and the reinforcement of the best aspects of our culture's lifestyle and values.

What do the directors look for in hiring counselors? Who are they? What is their training?
The counselors are the foundation of any camp and safety is directly linked to their skills. When we hire a counselor we are very aware that the moment your child walks in the cabin they want to be exactly like their counselor. We have staffing, training, supervision and evaluation procedures designed to ensure a great eduactional experience for everyone.
About the futureOur children are our future. Our responsibilities include nurturing and guiding them through the best possible life experiences, while providing them with opportunities to learn and grow physically, socially and emotionally. An outstanding camp experience can be one of the most important influences in a young person's life. Because of this, we encourage parents to choose a camp with the utmost care.
